Samsung Galaxy J5 Reviews:

About performance and battery life:

Low budget mobiles seem to have mid-range CPUs so that performance can be weak at a point. Still, in contrast to these low budget mobiles Samsung Galaxy J5 with its dual-core EXYNOS 7870 and 2GB RAM, proved as a very respectable performer that fulfills the hopes of a customer. This mobile is impressed in single-core performance, too, by scoring a total of 800 by stacking against its competitors.

Samsung Galaxy J5 is also capable of containing and playing most android games smoothly. One of its drawbacks is that it cannot handle the most demanding 3D scenes; otherwise, it has no problem with everyday games like blasting away enemies in gunship battle, feeding hens in cattle farming games. This mobile performs all functions with a smooth flow without getting hanged again and again, which creates an uncomfortable condition for users.
Now its turn for a battery to be discussed, we are happy to say that its battery time is very satisfying. The battery life of 2017’s Samsung Galaxy J5 is far improved than its predecessors. In our standard battery test at 170cd/m2, Samsung Galaxy J5 managed a crazy battery time of 18 hours and 26 minutes by staying away from the wall socket. Surprisingly, it is nearly two hours longer than the Samsung Galaxy S8.

The camera is another area of mobile, which is usually a very suffering part of low-cost mobiles. Still, Samsung also fulfills our need for a proper camera at a reasonable cost. The result of its camera cannot be said as outstanding as of other expensive mobiles like of Oppo and other expensive series of Samsung but quite better than other mobiles of this range.2016’s J5 was let down by a tendency to overexpose most images. On paper, 2017’s model of Samsung Galaxy J5 does not look much better, featuring a similar 13-megapixel resolution with only a slight aperture bump to f/1.7.

Though in use, it turns out to be a marked improvement over the old model of 2016. Images are clear and definite, and color reproduction is very outstanding with very little visible noise. It can capture low light situations very well while daylight shoots are packed in detail. Even tricky and small objects are obtained with defined clarity. No doubt, it is a much more versatile camera you would expect at such a low cost.

Design and Display:

The Galaxy J5 cannot be faulted on its looks and aesthetics. 2016’s model of J5 at its first glance looks a lot like old versions of Samsung because of its right down button placements and a home button in the center, which is now also used as a fingerprint reader in a new version of Samsung Galaxy J5 2017. In 2017’s version of J5, we can notice some exciting changes which are more comforting than in the old one version. Samsung Electronics managed to get rid of that chunky camera bump of 2016’s releases, and now that camera sits flush with the case.

It now sits smooth and flat on your desk, and the risk of scratching the lens is now decreased because of this change. Now, J5 has a slim all-metal body design, and this feels much nicer and attractive in hand than the plastic body of its predecessors. A traditional micro-USB socket for charging is located on the bottom edge. On the left corner, you will spot the volume bottom, and on the right, there is a power button.

Samsung Galaxy J5 does everything you could ask for. It is a solid performer as its battery timing is excellent, its new design is top-notch, and its camera is far improved than its previous series. The only issue is a price hike, Samsung Galaxy J5 is a more reliable phone in every way but at the rate of 240$ of 2017 version in comparison to 140$ rate of 2016 version of Galaxy J5 we are creeping towards one positive territory and that is a fight which J5 cannot cope up with. Overall it’s a fantastic deal to have such a large smartphone with many salient features for less than half of the price of other popular mobiles.

Rating of Samsung Galaxy J5:
Samsung Galaxy J5 has got a 4.2-star rating depending upon the reviews of its users and its experts. This mobile is mostly liked because of its excellent battery timing and its smooth performance and reasonable price.
